For technicians who are already certified, but would benefit from a reminder of the fundamentals of PAUT, we are introducing a refresher eLearning package. This course is an excellent way to remind yourself of the underlying principles and skills required to conduct this type of inspection.

Refresher courses are available for 14 days of consecutive access from the date of activation. During that time they can be completed entirely at your own pace, with the option to repeat any sections as needed.

This course is eligible for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit hours.

The Refresher eLearning Package is divided in three modules:

• Setup, element step, angular range and resolution, focal distance

• Number of samples, voltage, gain, PRF

• Velocity calibration, 0-degree, angled

• Wedge delay calibration, 0-degree, angled

• TCG calibration, 0-degree, angled

• Encoder calibration

• Probe positioning, zero datum, scanning direction

• Sizing indication 0-degree, depth, width, length

• Sizing indication angled beam, depth, height, length
